Born in 1968, Anil Vega started illustrating creative arts in his schooldays. He had won the Mahatma Gandhi University Youth Festval Prize for Cartoon section in 1982. He was the Bhima Award winner for Children’s Illustrations in the year 2002.

Till 2005 he had been working as an artist in Balarama (Children’s Magazine). He has done a lot of manifestations in the mediums like Digital Painting, Water-colouring and Acrylic Painting. Many short stories had been published in the magazines and weeklies.

Being an expert visualiser, Anil Vega has designed storyboards for a number of advertisment films. An artist having innovative and creative storyboard illustrations and ideas, he continues in the advertisement field.

Many Bookwork’s for children has been published by Chintha Publishers. ‘Raja Rammohan Ray’ is one of the best literary work for children penned by Anil. Nowadays he is working on illustrative literary versions of world classics for children.

Exploring the imaginary world, dedicated to his work and moving with the times, Anil Vega is still in the path of producing new creations using modern digital techniques.
